Working hours are 8am-5pm CST. ****** **Position Purpose:** Processing daily cash payments, preparing month end journal entries, managing pass through activity for third party administrative groups and generate and provide invoices at member request. + Prepare the monthly financial statement-reporting package + Backup for Accounts Receivable Rep for the Finance Customer service line + Account for cash through cash deposits, cash applications, collection and cash forecasting + Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital + Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position + Performs other duties as assigned + Complies with all policies and standards **Education/Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience. 0-2 years experience in accounting, preferably in health care industry. **Preferred Skills:** Attention to detail a must Self motivated and time management skills Advanced Excel skills Pay Range: $22.79 - $38.84 per hour Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
