Administrative Assistant - Haulaway

What We Need

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our operations in the container rental industry. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations, effective communication with clients and vendors, and efficient management of rental processes.

What You Will Do

  • Client & Vendor Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails, addressing inquiries related to container availability, rental terms, and service schedules.
  • Rental Coordination: Process rental agreements, schedule deliveries and pickups, and maintain accurate records of rental transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor container stock levels, update inventory records, and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely availability.
  • Billing & Documentation: Generate invoices, track payments, and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Office Administration: Manage office supplies, maintain filing systems, and support the team with general administrative tasks.

Haulaway Storage Containers has service centers throughout the western United States, serving Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.

Pay Rate: Annual opportunity of $45,760 - $62,170 / year based on hourly wages

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience (1–2 years) in an administrative role, preferably within logistics, equipment rental, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with rental management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
