**Job Summary:**
As a Dishwasher at Wicked Pie Pizza, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You’ll wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, assist with basic prep tasks, and help keep our downtown Puyallup location sparkling. Some dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred to hit the ground running, but we’ll provide training to help you succeed in our high-energy environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to Washington State health regulations.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed.
- Dispose of waste and keep trash areas clean and organized.
- Restock clean dishes and equipment to support kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy shifts.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management promptly.
**Qualifications:**
- 1+ years of dishwashing or kitchen experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Comfortable thriving in a high-energy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Food Handler’s Permit, or willingness to obtain upon hire (required by Washington State).
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a wet environment.
