Financial Analyst

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Financial Analyst at GDIT. Working on the Finance team, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Financial Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Financial Analyst joining our team to

  • Verify biweekly that the PACSB file is on the mainframe for payroll processing
  • Initiate payroll biweekly for processing and posting to the IRS accounting system
  • Monitor payroll processing and correct all BDC session errors
  • Create all payroll reconciliations for managerial review and GAO audit support
  • Create and distribute biweekly the Annual Leave and Future PP transaction Reports
  • Create and distribute weekly ORGA Compare reports to BUs
  • Reverse monthly payroll system accruals
  • Edit and prepare AINFC Overview document for GAO delivery
  • Upload all ORGA files to the mainframe and monitor the processing jobs
  • Upload all ORGA files to the TAPS Share drive for timekeeping tasks
  • Create and send for management review the payroll reconciliations delivered to GAO for audit support
  • Review and edit the Financial Data Process Flow for payroll
  • Coordinate yearly with the audit team to schedule GAO payroll walkthroughs
  • Prepare all GAO payroll walkthrough materials
  • Lead the GAO payroll walkthroughs and provide walkthrough deliverables
  • Submit to NFC various payroll rejects for research and resolution
  • Perform various mainframe tasks in support of payroll processing and error correction
  • Coordinate with NFC for early delivery of payroll accounting and personnel files, as needed
  • Schedule and host coordination meetings for special Saturday payroll Processing, as needed
  • Initiate and monitor periodic Special Payroll Accruals
  • Deliver ahead of the due dates all GAO PBC audit items
  • Delete items from ETS2 & GOVTRIP circular error file upon request

Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: IBM mainframe utilites
Security Clearance Level: MBI
Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Federal payroll accounting practices.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $42.50 - $57.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
