The Genetic Specialist Coordinator will report to the department clinical manager and will work with all department staff. Under the supervision of the genetic counselor and geneticist, the Genetic Specialist Coordinator will provide support to facilitate patient visits and genetic testing. This includes triaging patients for appointments, collecting information and records prior to visits, organizing genetic testing, and coordinating follow-ups. The applicant will need to be able to communicate effectively, professionally and sensitively with patients, providers and team members. The position requires exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. The applicant should have the ability to work efficiently, independently, and onsite as part of a team.

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $26.5936 - $34.1524 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
