Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the IT department, including networking, cybersecurity, VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and more.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team and other departments.
• Monitor and evaluate IT performance metrics to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT team.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand and address IT needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to Higher Education.
Required Education:
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading IT teams.
• Proven experience with networking, cybersecurity, VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Specific experience in the Higher Education sector, understanding its unique IT requirements and challenges.
