Responsibilities:
- Planning, directing, and coordinating the appropriate life cycle phases for project implementation and support.
- Coordinating resources, schedules, and task assignments for one large or multiple small projects.
- Serving as the primary contact with user groups and systems management.
- Providing advice on methods and recommending changes in project management processes, standards, and strategies.
- Resolving major issues, managing project interdependencies, and overseeing handoffs.
- Managing overall project communication.
- Leading the preparation of business case, cost/benefit analysis, contingency planning, and risk assessment.
- Serving as a technical subject matter resource for systems and business line staff.
- Overseeing daily project management duties such as holding meetings, tracking timelines, updating/sending notes, preparing status reports, and managing project risks/issues.
- Training to bring the Project Manager up to speed on the projects, team introductions, and complete onboarding.
- Utilizing software skills in Project Management Risk/Issue Management Project Ownership, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
Requirements - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Experience in conducting and coordinating training sessions.
- Proven ability in planning and executing projects successfully.
- Solid understanding and experience in project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with 'About Time' software or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of benefit functions within a business context.
- Experience in onboarding new team members and stakeholders.
- Proven track record in successful project implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presenting project updates and outcomes.
- Understanding of financial notes and their implications on project budgeting.
- Familiarity with different project management methods and practices.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and managing supply chain within projects.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector is an advantage.
- Ability to work onsite as per project requirements.
- Experience in creating and managing project timelines.
- Skills in competitor analysis relevant to project planning and execution.
- Expertise in project planning, including resource allocation and timeline management.
- Experience in conducting risk assessment for projects.
- Knowledge of system administration relevant to IT projects.
- Experience in program management, including managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to create and present status reports on project progress.
- Experience in conducting phone screens for team recruitment.
- Ability to perform analysis on project data and make informed decisions.
