Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Salary: Starting at $80,000

We are partnering with a well-established law firm in Washington, D.C., to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in personal injury or medical malpractice . This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier legal team and play a key role in high-impact cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive case management support throughout all phases of litigation.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation , including organizing exhibits, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery.
  • Conduct legal research , summarize medical records, and prepare case-related documents.
  • Draft correspondence, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Maintain case files, track deadlines, and coordinate filings in both state and federal courts.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather and organize key case information.
  • Track and enter billable hours in accordance with firm policies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or medical malpractice .
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures , electronic filing systems, and legal research tools.
  • Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and legal documents.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with billable hour requirements and timekeeping.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills .
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Paralegal certificate is a plus.
