Job Description

Description As a Medical Receptionist, you will manage front-office duties, including greeting patients, processing paperwork, scheduling appointments, coordinating office communication, and maintaining patient records. You will be an essential partner in helping our office run smoothly, ensuring that patients feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step through the door. Key Responsibilities: + Greet and check in patients with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service skills. + Answer and route calls as needed, assisting patients and staff in a courteous manner. + Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and medical records. + Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently. + Assist with billing and payment processing tasks, working closely with medical billers. + Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area. + Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient office workflows. + Ensure strict confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information securely, complying with HIPAA regulations.
