Roseville Urban Forest Foundation (RUFF) is a non-profit group working in the Roseville area to help people improve the tree canopy in our community. We currently have an opening for a part-time Operations Administrator.
Position Title : Operations Administrator
Timeframe : Part-time; 15-20 hours/week, flexible schedule
Compensation : $18 - $22/hour (depending on experience)
Location : Hybrid/remote in Roseville, CA (RUFF does not have a physical office)
Mission : To promote an awareness of the value and benefits of trees in our community
Position Summary :
This position assists RUFF’s operations by managing a variety of tasks under the supervision of and training (when needed) by the RUFF Board of Directors
Marketing: Promote the Roseville Electric Shade Tree Program and RUFF projects, publish newsletters, create and send Mailchimp blasts, create and print posters
Event Support: Plan, organize logistics, register for outreach events such as fundraisers, community events, special occasions
Education Project Suppor t: Prepare presentations, organize the library book project, print children’s booklets
Volunteer Coordination : Organize volunteer events, communicate with volunteers, provide updates

• Flexible in balancing multiple responsibilities
• Able to organize and implement marketing activities
Desirable software skills include :
• PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Publisher
• Google Drive, Sheets, Docs
• Mailchimp
• Eventbrite
• Canva
You will need to provide your own transportation (mileage reimbursed). RUFF will provide a laptop computer.
