Location: Las Colinas, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)-must be local to Dallas/Irving area
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software development and/or solutions architecture, with a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
Proven architectural understanding of Apache Spark, including how to scale, tune, and integrate Spark jobs in AWS environments.
Experience with modern orchestration and pipeline tools: Airflow (especially AWS-managed), Snowflake, Databricks, Glue.
Strong proficiency in AWS core services, including compute, IAM, monitoring, and advanced networking (e.g., VPC peering, private endpoints, NAT Gateway).
Deep knowledge of EKS/Kubernetes, including deployment patterns, observability, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), applying best practices for environment separation and modularity.
Strong coding background in Java or Python, able to understand application behavior and POC code performance.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) and secure deployment practices.
Strong grasp of security and governance principles, especially in regulated industries.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills; ability to lead architectural discussions and stakeholder alignment.
