The Position : We’re looking for a Student Success Team Member!

Responsibilities :

  • Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
  • Assist in the coordination and management of all functions and activities surrounding the student experience
  • Ensure the student handbook, rules and regulations and mission is being adhered to, including matters related to attendance, attire, graduation progress, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student life cycle in school management database, including attendance, grades, and any other items in the database
  • Conduct regular audits of student files to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Enter and manage daily attendance to ensure all student hours are accurate and verified
  • Ensure student grades are entered and monitor GPAs for SAP compliance
  • Assist in maintenance of placement, graduation, State Board pass rates, etc. for NACCAS
  • Actively participate in career fairs; plan and coordinate career fairs as necessary
  • Serve as a contact for salons and spas inquiring about student placement • Perform duties as assigned and/or required to meet business needs
  • Abide by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Continuous retail, customer service, restaurant, or hospitality experience required; experience in the cosmetology industry highly preferred
  • Exhibit initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work at a fast pace in a "high touch" environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence and to the Company’s mission and vision

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Walk, stand up, and/or sit for up to eight (8) hours per day
  • Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms
  • Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear
  • See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
  • Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a school setting

Travel Requirements: The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training and events as necessary.
