Role: Complaint Investigations Tech
Location: Alameda, CA - 94502
Duration: 6 Months
Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10 PM




Job Description:
This position is Non-Exempt.
Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
Perform routine testing (physical, chemical or functional) on product returned from the field due to a customer complaint, using a variety of lab equipment.
Summarize and record all test data and maintain proper documentation of all lab work.
Process customer returns in a timely manner in accordance with ISO and FDA QS Reg.
Support company goal for timeliness of complaint investigations and closures.
Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVD?s and Biologics.
Must have good written and oral communications skills.
Must possess good laboratory practices, including handling of chemicals and biohazardous material.


Additional Job description:
NO COMPLAINT HANDLING INVOLVED AT THIS TIME.
Warehouse Job Duties:
Minimum of 1 year of Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
Able to use pallet jack and forklift to move pallets in warehouse.
Must be able to complete forklift certification, training will be provided.
Able to unpack boxes and carry contents to designated storage area.
May be up to 50 lbs.
Maintain warehouse inventory using Excel, or Database.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with standard operating procedures (SOP's), rules, and regulations.
Completes reports by entering required information.
Entering data into reports used for monitoring and updating warehouse activity as needed via Excel and/or Word.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
May also be trained on Complaint Investigations, if needed by the business.

Manager Dante Eleazer Simon Position is 6 months from Start Date with possible extensions.
Position is Onsite only in Alameda CA.
Position Summary:
This role supports warehouse operations through inventory management, material handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and be comfortable working in a physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse (forklift certification training will be provided).
Unpack shipments and transport contents to designated storage areas (lifting up to 50 lbs may be required).
Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel or a warehouse database system.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. Complete and submit reports by entering required data into Excel and/or Word documents.
May be cross-trained to support complaint investigations as needed by the business.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
