Job Description

Medical Claims Associate | $45,000+ |Lincoln, NE| Direct Hire | Hybrid

What Matters Most:

· Pay: Starting at $45,000 annually

· Schedule: Training (12 Weeks): Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., In-Office

· Post-Training: Monday–Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

· After 6 Months: Must be available to work a rotating schedule (9:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) approximately 12 times per year.

· Hybrid Work Schedule

· Location: Lincoln, NE

Job Description:

As a Medical Claims Associate, you’ll play a critical role in reviewing, investigating, and analyzing medical claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:

· Review, investigate, and analyze medical claims for completeness and accuracy.

· Process medical claims in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

· Provide outstanding customer service by answering inbound calls from members and providers.

· Make outbound calls to gather additional information or clarify claim details.

· Analyze and respond to information requests from various stakeholders.

· Set and meet challenging personal and team performance goals.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent, associate degree preferred

· Up to 12 months of experience in medical claims processing, healthcare billing, or working with medical insurance plans.

· Telephone customer service experience.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to meet quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

· Availability to work overtime on Saturday mornings (6:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) as needed.
