About Us
The Department of Computer Science at Acropolis Institute of Management Studies and Research, established in 2015 and affiliated with Devi AhilyaVishwavidyalaya, Indore, offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs in Computer Science. These programs emphasize strong industry-academia connectivity and include placement training such as resume preparation, group discussions, and interviews in collaboration with the Career Development Cell. The department also organizes mentoring sessions by experts to guide students on career opportunities in computer science.
Faculty members possess diverse qualifications covering core and interdisciplinary areas. The curriculum integrates project work, seminars, presentations, internships, and certifications to expose students to current research and developments.
Since 2021, the department has adopted the National Education Policy (NEP), restructuring degree programs to offer flexible durations and multiple entry-exit options. Under NEP, students can earn a certificate after one year, a diploma after two years, and a bachelor’s degree after three years. A four-year B.Sc. option with research and honors is also available. The NEP follows a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), incorporating internships, vocational subjects, community service, and field projects to enhance practical learning and employability.
